have been spent in Furnace Creek (Death Valley) training for the event
& the event itself & then rest, recovery & celebration in Lone Pine
all places with no mobile reception (at least on my phone - others did
get intermittent reception). After leaving the beaches of LA it was a
case of moving from heaven to hell as i spent 2 days in iredeemably
tacky Las Vegas mostly spent wandering through Walmart Stores getting
supplies during the day
