days as simply the temperatures werent as hot as predicted for race
day (only 110 or so). By Friday i was to meet the first of my crew
members as Matt was due to drive in from a family holiday in Morro Bay
but after a hard morning run decided i'd give myself a rest & drive to
Beatty. Made worthwhile by having lunch at the great Ensenada Diner
(so different from $20 pizzas at Furnace Creek). Back to FC & another
evening in the hot pool!.
